Make Your Own Fire Cider Monday Nov. 8, 2021 on Zoom 6:30-7:30 Join me via the Connolly Branch of the Boston Public Library. We'll prep, chop & learn together as I share about this warming, delicious home remedy. We'll talk medicinal actions, uses, dosage and about the famous "Free Fire Cider" legal campaign that helped to set an important 'herbs for the people' precedent. We'll stroll through the Boston Food Forest where I'll present on the wild and cultivated medicinal plants we find. I'll focus on plant identification, typical food and medicinal uses and some basics of herb harvest and preparation. Participants will have a chance to share their experiences and ask questions, as well as enjoy some herbal tea prepared from some of the same herbs we'll see on the walk. These are entirely out doors classes. They are geared for adults though children accompanied by their parent are welcomed.
