About Su Su Cousineau is licensed and nationally certified by AOBTA American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia She studied Shiatsu and graduated from The New England Center for Oriental Bodywork Therapy, Brookline, Massachusetts in 1997. In 2004 she completed the Herbal Foundations Apprenticeship with Nancy Phillips, Herbalist, Heartsong Farm, Groveton, New Hampshire. in 2007, Su furthered her studies by graduating from the The Science and Art of Herbology by Rosemary Gladstar, Master Herbalist. Su has been in private practice for over a decade in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts (1997-current), at Cambridge Health Associates, Cambridge, Massachusetts (current) and at the Charles River School of Shiatsu, Arlington and Central Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts (2001-2006) Prior to that she was in Clinical practice at Tapestry Complementary Healthcare, Wellesely, Massachsetts (1998) and interned at the AIDS Cares Program, Boston, Massachusetts. Before her shiatsu career, Su had a 12-year history in K-5th grade arts and after school education with the Jamaica Plain KidsArts! Program of the JP Multicultural Center and the Extended Day Program of the Brookline Driscoll School. Su resides in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, and is member of the Paul Gore Community Gardens, the United Plant Savers and the North East Herbal Association. |
