For New Clients
A first time shiatsu session is 90 minutes. This allows for health history, assessment and shiatsu. Assessment involves discussing your health concerns and goals, as well as traditional pulse taking and tongue diagnosis. As shiatsu is performed through clothing, plan to wear or bring some light-weight, comfortable clothing, preferably cotton. Shiatsu is often deeply relaxing and will shift your energetic system. This healing process can be supported by planning to rest, enjoy nature or even just pausing a bit afterwards. Even a small amount of time to integrate the shiatsu work allows your system to anchor positive shifts. Your session results will last longer, too. More about Shiatsu
A first time herbal session is 1.5–2 hours. This includes health history and assessment, pulse testing for herbs, sharing about their actions, formulation of your herbs to take home and directions on use. Basic dietary suggestions are usually included. If you have medications, herbs or vitamins you are currently taking, please bring a list with you. More about Herbal Therapy Self care sessions are educational and training sessions on a variety of topics and scope.
